A phone rings, the technician sitting next to it sighs - as though inconvinienced - picks up the phone and leaves the room to take the call.

On the other side of the door an artifact rigged up to modified test equipment begins to swing, the still air fills with an unknown energy, gravity shifts, the equipment goes haywire.

Unaware of the anomaly, the technician re-enters the room. They feel it first, like the bass from a concert speaker in the pit of their stomach, but all is silent. Before them, the equipment hangs in the air as though thrown and frozen. The artifact is motionless.
